In today’s video blog I talk about how to dive deep into the emotion of your clients so that you are showing them the “benefits” of the benefits that you have to offer their life.

Many of us start our Network Marketing or Direct Sales business with great expectations and a Servant’s heart…..but there is one problem. We don’t have a clue how to sell. We come up with a marketing plan, post ads, and sit and wonder why sales aren’t happening. Why doesn’t anyone want our wonderful products? Unless you come from a ‘Sales’ background, you will find that there is a lot to learn when it comes to winning over your clients and prospects.

What you will come to find is that sales is all about presenting your client and prospect with the “benefit of the benefit“. That was a Network Marketing Tip I learned from Ray Higdon these last few months. So, for example, not only will your product make them “feel” better physically, but how will it feel for them when their kids ask them to play after supper and they have the energy to go out and enjoy the evening with them. Or when they lose that weight, what will it feel like the first time they can go into their favorite store and ask the sales clerk for a smaller size? These are things that aren’t taught to us in our MLM Traning from our Companies. We get really good at knowing the benefits of the products, but aren’t taught how to appeal past that, to the heart of our prospects.

The “Benefit of the Benefit”. If you can keep that idea in your mind, you will be on the road to success in sales and recruiting. In this quick video I share some ways to present that way of thinking to your clients. Again, it’s all about the feelings 🙂

  1. I forget where I read or heard it but i’ve somehow encountered a similar theory in the past. That basically no matter what you’re selling you want to bring it back to happiness. They’ll be happy becuase they can run and play with their kids – so you sell tha tinstead of just the weight loss pill. Or theyll have more time to play golf becuase the product sells them money, etc. It definitely makes sense.
