In today’s video blog I share the ‘Do’s and Don’ts’ of Social Media Recruiting.

We’ve all been there. That moment where you look at the clock and realize that you’ve spent 5 hours on Facebook and Twitter looking for people to recruit and you have nothing. NOTHING. In a moment of desperation you see one person in a post, one helpless person who’s going to get a message from you and YOU DON’T CARE…..THEY’RE GETTING A LINK TO YOUR OPPORTUNITY DAMMIT!!!

I think the reason we all get spammed so much on Facebook, Twitter, G+, etc, is that social media marketing takes TIME! It all comes down to the same rules that apply in how to interview someone.  You are QUALIFYING people, not going after anyone who is willing to sign up with your opportunity simply because you sent them an unsolicited link! Take your time and do this properly, and your efforts WILL pay off. If you are consistent you will win. Why? Because most people give up after two weeks. If you keep going, you will stand out from the crowd as an expert with amazing posture, who doesn’t just accept ANYONE into their business, whether it’s in person or on social media.

    1. Lol yes Debi I know some people hate them. As a Network Marketer I need to be actively prospecting and I expect that out of 10 messages I send out maybe 3 will respond and 1 will want more info. So for an hours work I get interest in my business or tools. I know that when I’m contacting someone I’m offering a way to help them and if they feel it was rude that’s ok too! 🙂

    1. Me too Rena!! I’m sloooooowly learning twitter, just got my first recruit off there today! lol It all takes so much time and there is a lot of distraction! Then if all I’m doing is business I feel like I’m not building relationships! I can’t wait to get a virtual assistant lol
