How to Get People to Want to Work With You

In today’s video blog I talk about how people want to join you, not your business, and how realizing that can drastically change how successful you are.

Team blog

The first thing you want to do when you join a new Network Marketing Opportunity is share the opportunity with others, and that’s the whole point! But it’s not about bragging about how great your opportunity is and carrying on with the attitude that what you have is just SO great that everyone should want to join you. People don’t follow someone who acts like you are doing them a favour.

Remember that you are in the people business! It’s all about how you carry yourself and how you treat others. Even if you have immediate success based on your opportunity in the beginning, if you don’t build a team who cares about each other, you could be setting yourself up for failure in the end.

So how do you keep people interested in joining you? This video will tell you how!

And also, remember that you are not anyone’s “boss” in this business. You are a leader, and an encourager, helping others succeed, but it is level playing ground and no one person is more important than the other.

  1. I used to be an independent consultant for a skincare company. It was a great experience; I loved working with those who joined my downline. You’re so right, it’s important to be an encourager and help them succeed–because they’re the secret to the upline’s success, too!
